- Operation Christmas Child boxes: Each kid got to pack their own box. It was funny though when the puppets we got wouldn't fit. Sophie Rose was so upset until I told her we could donate them to her preschool.

- Maw Susan taught the grandkids how to do needlepoint. They created crosses for their Bibles.
- I order Kiwi Crate for the kids. It's a monthly crafting box. There are several art projects in each box. Kalyn and Sophie Rose painted pictures in the style of Mondrian. Then Logan George and Sophie Rose created a hanging sculpture.
- Leaf Art: We collected some leaves on our walk to the park and then decided to decorate them.
