Love My Jeep

Sophie figured out how to make the Jeep move.

My First Jeep

My sister Kelly had me store this Jeep walker thing after Matthew outgrew it. I figure I stored it, I keep it. Ha!

We tried Sophie in it. She can't quite reach the floor, and we have to scrunch a blanket around her, but she loves it.

Sometimes she loves it too much! Driving just wears you out!

Sleeping Beauties

Wrangler was also sleeping until he heard me zoom the camera.

No, she doesn't sleep with us. On the weekends, we usually bring her to our room when she first wakes up. She gets a bottle and occasionally will fall back to sleep. She may look like Mommy but she can sleep like Daddy!

Finally...

she lifts her head up!

Swimming at the Lake

Before anybody goes crazy, I didn't really get to go swimming. Daddy just held me so Mommy could take the picture. I spent the whole time in the covered wagon.

We'll Miss You!

Way back in December 2005 when we first went to the fertility clinic, I started meeting with a wonderful woman named Rosemary from my church. We have been getting together just about every week since. She has helped me through this entire journey from clinic to adoption back to clinic and then through the pregnancy. She is moving this week to be closer to her own grandchildren and Sophie and I will miss her dearly. I do not believe Sophie would be here today without the prayers from this wonderful woman!

Pool Party

I got this baby pool at one of the consignment sales this spring. I've been waiting for the yard to be mowed and the weather to be a little cooler to actually set it up. We broke it out this month finally. Sophie loves baths so I figured she would like the pool, and I was right! I sat her in the Bumbo seat (suggestion I saw from another blogger) and then poured water over her.

Today we went outside with Daddy, so we were able to get better pictures. Sophie loves to stand up and her legs are getting so strong.

She's not really liking the sunglasses but they are just too darn cute not to get a picture with them.

Guess Who Rolled Over!

Yes, my genius of a baby, rolled over this morning. This is how I left her to go fix a bottle.

When I came back, this is what I found.

I think she may have used the "legs" on her lay mat to help, but I can't be sure. She was really mad, because she was laying on her arm and couldn't get her hand in her mouth.
