First Birthday Party

This is the inspiration for Sophie's first birthday. We rode this train at Fall Fest in September when Sophie was just 4 months old. When we decided she was too young for a real elephant at her party we figured the train would be the next best thing.

Our friend Suzanne made the smash cake, complete with an elephant riding a train. It tasted so good!


Another friend made this cake. We actually had cupcakes for everyone. This cake was just in case we ran out of cupcakes. We saved it for preschool on Monday.


After an outfit change, it was cake time. Sophie was a little timid at first...


but then dived right in!
