Swim Little Fishes

One of the best things about our new house is that we have a community pool.  We did A LOT of swimming at that pool plus took swim lessons at the rec center with the cousins.  Here's some pics:

First Day of Preschool (with Kalyn)

The girls started preschool last week.  They will be going 2 days a week at a church program.  Kalyn was very excited to be going but Sophie Rose was kind of "meh" about it.  Of course, she loves that Kalyn  is there too.

Cupcakes Girls

While we were visiting the bookstore recently, Sophie Rose spied a huge pink carriage across the way at the mall.

We investigated and found out that it was a cupcake shop.  Because it was lunch time, I told the girls that we would come back the next day when we could get dressed up and really enjoy the outing.

 

We each picked a different flavor and the girls chose cupcakes for their brothers.  After getting the cupcakes, you go to carriage where you have your choice of sprinkles.

We sat and enjoyed our cupcakes.  I had the special of the day snickerdoodle, Kalyn chose a plain vanilla so she could really add on the sprinkles, and Sophie Rose chose cookies and cream.  She scored when she found the whole Oreo cookie at the bottom of her cupcake.

We had a great morning and it was a great girls date before preschool started.
