Easter Holiday

We celebrated Easter with my family the night before with a ham dinner and egg hunt outside.

 We left some carrots out for the Easter Bunny that night along with the placemats we made at our last movie night.

The Easter Bunny was very generous.

 After breakfast, we had a small egg hunt inside.

 We had lunch in Aledo with Paul's family.  There were so many cousins but that didn't mean there wasn't enough eggs for the hunt.  The kids cleaned up.

During our Easter Movie Night, we had our own special Peep Show...a taste testing of all the specialty peeps I could find.

Easter Extravaganza

The Easter Bunny was very generous this year.

 

 

 But first he left a trail of glitter and confetti from the kids bedrooms to their baskets.

Sophie couldn't even be bothered to sit in the chair...she was on top of the table in seconds, checking out all the goodies.

 

Logan George was a little disappointed because the Easter Bunny didn't hide any eggs for them to find.  I remedied that by "texting" the bunny who came and hid some while we were at lunch (and before the grandparents showed up).

Dyeing Easter Eggs

We dyed eggs on the eve of Easter Sunday.  It was messy but the kids had fun and Logan George is excited to get all those hard boiled eggs to eat for breakfast.

 

We dyed some then painted the others with little sponges.

 

 

 

 This is what my fingers looked like afterwards...and that was after I used bleach to try to clean them.
